Having collaborated with leading energy companies such as Centrica, Aramco, Petronas, BP, and Schlumberger, he has led key projects optimizing drilling costs and enhancing production. As the author of several renowned industry textbooks and an internationally respected instructor, he delivers innovative solutions to engineering challenges in the energy sector. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Entrac Petroleum, providing consultancy services to the industry.
Dr. Evren M. Ozbayoglu is a globally recognized scholar and expert in petroleum engineering. He serves as the Jonathan Detwiler Chair and Director of TU-Drilling Research Projects at The University of Tulsa’s Petroleum Engineering Department, where he is also a professor. Dr. Ozbayoglu specializes in drilling technologies, well engineering, and innovative solutions for the energy sector. With a distinguished academic career, he has made significant contributions as an educator and researcher, leading impactful projects for the industry.
